When I moved to Northern Sweden, in 2020, it was a temporary pause along my journey. Until I spend a weekend in Kiruna, the northernmost city in Sweden, I was thinking of going back among people, to big cities.
A sudden realisation in a small, cozy room, with the temperature of -20C degrees outside, didn’t let me go back to south. The journey that I had started to seek freedom was on another phase. I have traveled across Northern Sweden, hiked up to the mountains, climbed the rocks and swam in the lakes. Over time, I understood that I, myself was the one preventing to set my soul free.
When you're out in the wilderness, there are no distractions. It's just you and the elements. You can't escape from your thoughts or your problems. You have to face them head on and let go of what's holding you back.All the time that I spent here in Northern Sweden, help me understood that there is no other way than nature to get back to roots for one.
I think that's why I love guiding others through this journey. It's not just about seeing the beautiful sights or experiencing new things. It's about helping them find their own path and finding their own way in this world. It's about helping them let go and find their true selves. And that's something that I think is invaluable.
